Continuous testing

The DXT formulation has achieved comprehensive biocidal activity against a range of bacteria, viruses and fungi.

Lower concentrations of the overall formula are safe for human contact and reduce the environmental load (less active biocidal ingredients used compared to many other products) so providing a more ‘responsible’ disinfecting solution.

In addition, our formulations utilize a new, more ecologically sound, surfactant which is shown to biodegrade and cause less harm to the environment.

Biosecurity

The DXT range is based on new technology that delivers greater effectiveness in targeted disinfection and sanitizing properties as well as being more environmentally and ecologically sound.

The DXT range uses a special formulation of a Quat, DDAC (Didecyl Dimethyl Ammonium Chloride) which has a twin alkyl chain structure. Performance studies on DXT's formulation of DDAC alone have shown it to have superior activity over benzene ring based Quats

DXT27 is an aldehyde free, high performance disinfectant cleaner with outstanding microbiocidal performance and broad-spectrum activity against bacteria, fungi, viruses and spores. Its efficacy against C. difficile spores and different types of viruses matches perfectly to the use of this formulation around hospitals.

General hospital surfaces, such as floors or surfaces in patient’s rooms should be treated with a mid-level disinfectant cleaner such as DXT27.

Institutions, Sport and Leisure, Food & Beverage – Surface Disinfection

For industrial and institutional applications, contamination with pathogens seldom occurs. However, disinfection is necessary to avoid transmission of bacteria, fungi and viruses.

In food preparation areas, the performance of disinfectants is critical across a wide range of temperatures. A reduction in temperature reduces the efficacy of every disinfectant. As a consequence, in cool areas the concentration of the product has to be increased or the duration time or both.
